You can spend the free £5 straight away too! The process is quick & completely free, just follow the steps below.

1) Create an account: Click Get offer below and create and verify your account (some people may be asked to verify their ID)

2) Activate the free £5: Within Zilch, tap Amazon (or whichever other retailer you want to use the £5 at). It’ll ask How would you like to pay? Select pay it all now (if the option is available, otherwise select pay it in 4. – Either is fine as you’ll be using your free balance anyway). (If you haven’t yet added a backup debit card, it’ll prompt you to enter it at some point, so if your purchase is more than the free £5 it’ll use the backup card to cover anything extra).
It’ll then prompt you to Enable your card to shop. Where it says ‘Rewards balance 500’ – activate it by clicking on it – this means it’ll use the free £5 as the payment method. Finally, click the Enable card button at the bottom. (This let’s you use your Zilch card at that store and will redirect you to the store i.e Amazon to complete your purchase). Copy the Zilch card details that are displayed

3) Spend the free £5: On Amazon, add a £5 gift voucher to your basket (or whichever online store you’re browsing, add your items to your basket). At checkout, change the payment method and enter in your Zilch card details to use your free £5
